It finally happened--relaxation! I finally was able to relax during Christmas. I made a promise to myself that I would not get bent out of shape and hyper this year. Christmas Eve was fantastic! We loaded ourselves into the car (the one with better gas mileage) and headed for a nice drive in the country. I realized that this aimless driving was the kind of thing that I long for; there is not a precise destination which is exactly the point. Aimless wandering--I need to do more of that. Lately life has been too directional. Not that it's bad, but I need some carelessness thrown in somewhere.
